John has always had a strong interested in painting, but it was only since leaving the workforce, that John was able to spend time exploring and developing his passion. John has received fantastic guidance from local artists, John Canning and Glenda Cornell, while workshops and overseas tours with Craig Penny have also proved invaluable.  John is a member of the Cobram and District Art Society and has learnt a lot from fellow members and visiting artists.
